An outgoing Guyanese passenger was today arrested by ranks of the Police Narcotics Unit at the Ogle Airport following the discovery of a quantity of marijuana in his luggage.
According to a police press release, at about 13:50hrs the ranks nabbed the man after 17 kilograms 572 grams of the illegal substance was found in his luggage.
He is in police custody and charges are expected to be made shortly.
