The Police are reporting that around 19:00hrs last night Wednesday April 13, 2016, Alam Hussain, 39 years, of Cornelia Ida, West Coast Demerara, was in the process of closing his supermarket when he was attacked by three men, one of whom was armed with a gun.
The men held him at gunpoint and took away $4,000 and a laptop before escaping.
Police ranks responded promptly to the report and arrested one of the suspects in a mini-bus at Cornelia Ida.
He is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
