Lennox Cornette, a Communications Consultant will succeed Molly Hassan as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the state owned National Communications Network (NCN) effective May 1, 2016.
According to a press statement issued today (April 15) this is part of the Governments move to revitalize the Management Team of NCN.
He last served as the Deputy CEO of Jialing Forest Industries Inc. and had responsibility for administration and operations. He authored the book ” Telecommunications in Guyana 1884 -1994.”
Cornette holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor in Social Sciences (majored in Mass Communications), a Diploma in Public Communications and other certificates.
His work experience includes interactions with the local and international private sector in the areas of communication and management.
Molly Hassan was serving in the position since May 2014.
