Seeram Singh, a fuel dealer of Parika, East Bank Essequibo was last evening (April 30) killed after he was robbed by bandits.
The businessman, 52 years, was shot three times and also stabbed.
According to information reaching the News Room the incident occurred around 21:00 hrs during the downpour.
It is unclear what valuables the bandits managed to escape with.
Police investigations are ongoing.
