Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum this evening confirmed that the police on Sunday evening nabbed the suspect fingered in the murder of businessman Seeram Singh.
According to the Crime Chief, the man was picked up based on the description given to the police of the suspect and the clothes he was wearing at the time of the murder.
News Room was informed that
Persons in the area told the police that prior to the murder, the man was also seen in the Parika area and from all indications may have been waiting on the man to rob him.
Seeram Singh, 52 years , a fuel dealer of Parika Outfall, East Bank Essequibo was shot and stabbed to death on Saturday evening by the man who robbed him.
The investigations into that matter are ongoing.
