A brother and sister are now homeless after their Agricola Public Road house went up in flames this morning.
News Room was unable to ascertain the names of the siblings, but during a visit to the fire scene we were told that the fire started at approximately 01:30hrs.
Several persons who spoke with this newscast believe the fire may have been started by the brother, who is said to be of unsound mind.
Two fire tenders responded to the report, however the entire two storey concrete and wooden structure was destroyed by the blaze.
The Guyana Fire Service has since launched an investigation.
