E-Networks Emerging Voices Auditions begin

The search is on for contestants with great potential in the Bollywood singing style for the E-networks’ Emerging Voices for Season 2 from tomorrow, June 03.

 

Following a successful run in 2014, which saw Vishalie Sukram of Black Bush Polder, Berbice emerge as the winner of the competition, the company says it is preparing to host its second season.

 

Auditions begin on Friday (June, 03, 2016) at E-Networks Cornelia Ida Office, West Coast Demerara at 18:00hrs.

 

Thereafter, the judges will move to Berbice for three auditions on Saturday June 4th at 10:00hrs at Rishi’s Photo Studio, Lot 98 Public Road, No. 12 Village West Berbice, at 13:00hrs at E-Networks Office, Port Mourant and at 16:00hrs at Countryside Cinema, No. 64 Village, Upper Corentyne.

 

On Sunday June 5th, Auditions will be held at 10:00hrs in Essequibo and at 17:00hrs at E-Networks Studios, Austin Street, Campbellville, Georgetown.

 

On Tuesday June 7th, persons in the Upper East Coast Areas will have their chance at the KK Gas Station, Mahaica beginning at 18:00hrs.

 

The competition is open to persons 15 to 40 years old. Interested persons are asked to call 600-9120 to register or inbox the E-Networks Emerging Voices Facebook Page. They can also just attend any of the auditions.

 

If chosen at the auditions, contestants will benefit from intense training by celebrity judges Jeffrey Iqbal and Purnash Durgaprasad. The winner will be vying for the millions of dollars in prizes. Iqbal and Durgaprasad are accomplished singers and musicians. They both have a wide range of experience on the International Scene including in popular competitions; ZEETV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and India’s Raw Star featured on Star Plus.

 

Season 1 saw Artie Sookhai emerging at 2nd place and Gail Ann Singh emerging 3rd.

 

The 1st and 2nd place winners of Season 1 received other prizes from Sponsors King’s Jewellery World and Continental Group of Companies, along with training stints in India compliments of E-Networks. They also got a chance to perform for legendary Bollywood Playback singer Sonu Nigam when he visited Guyana in 2014.
