Ranks of the Mahdia Police Station today discovered the body of a 25 year old male on the roadway at the area of Dadagoo Shop in Mahdia.
According to the police, the body of Romel Daniels was discovered by the ranks who responded to reports of a man seen motionless on the roadway about 03:40h today, Monday, June 06, 2016.
Daniels of Campbelltown, Mahdia, was discovered with what appears to be a single stab wound to his abdomen.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to collect evidence and canvass the area for potential witnesses.
The body is at the Mahdia Hospital Mortuary awaiting a post-mortem. A motive in the case has not yet been established.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrest has been made at this time.
Investigators are asking for the community’s help for any information pertaining to the homicide.
