A 15 year old student of a city school was moments ago shot to the head and is presently in a critical condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The News Room cannot at this time immediately confirm the circumstances under which the young man was shot.
His name was given as Jamal and he is said to be an apprentice mechanic.
The shooting took place in South Ruimveldt at the mechanic shop where the young man is presently receiving training.
The police are investigating the matter.
