Man remanded for murdering brother

TWENTY-Seven year old Orin Jules was moments ago remanded to prison by Magistrate Bibi Zameena-Ali when he appeared in the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court charged with the offence of murdering his brother,  Dexter Jules,23 years.

 

 

The court heard that the two who reside at the same address, Lot 634 ‘D’ Field Sophia, were involved in an argument when Orin Jules stabbed Dexter Jules before fleeing into the nearby bushes.

 

 

He was later captured by public spirited citizens from the community and the police were informedand took the man into custody.

 

 

Orin Jules was charged before on two separate counts of threatening language including against his mother and was remanded previously.

 

 

Today in the courtroom the man was not represented nor were any relatives present.

 

 

He would be returning to court on August 04, 2016.
