The Guyana Fire Service was this evening summoned to the Gafoor’s Houston Complex following a report of a fire at the location.
The News Room was informed that the fire, though not large, started in the same location where a massive fire that destroyed the bond, started back in May.
This information was confirmed by sources in the Police Force and Fire Service.
Contacted this evening, Mr. Sattaur Gafoor, Chairman and CEO of Gafsons Industry Ltd, related to News Room that he was at home when he received a call that there may be a fire at the location.
When Mr. Gafoor spoke to this News outfit he was headed to the location.
