According to the Regional Chairman, David Armongan measures will be put in place to ensure the delinquent contractors are not awarded contracts to provide furniture in the future.

It was noted that there will be a shortage of furniture at some schools on the Corentyne Coast and in New Amsterdam.

According to information received, the contracts cover furniture for nursery schools, primary schools and furniture for teachers.
