The Guyana Police Force is hunting several persons in connection with a deadly shooting outside the very popular and controversial strip club, Rio Inn this morning.
The News Room has learnt that at approximately 3:45 hrs , an argument broke out in the club between two men, resulting in a young man whose name was given as ‘Ryan,’ being shot to the head while another unidentified young man was injured.
‘Ryan’ was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the injured young man has been admitted at a city hospital.
Police sources who spoke with the News Room said the shooting occurred outside the nightclub and not inside as being suggested.
The sources also claim that the persons, who have so far been implicated in the matter, are known characters.
The investigations into the shooting are ongoing.
