A man was moments ago rushed to a City Hospital following an accident which took place at Ogle, East Coast Demerara (E.C.D) in the vicinity of the Shell Service Station.
The News Room was informed that the man was struck down by a speeding vehicle. He was immediately picked up and rushed to the hospital. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the man appeared to have several broken bones.
It is unclear if the accident was a hit and run, since according to police sources in ‘C’ division, the driver responsible for the accident is not yet in custody.
