The police have issued a wanted bulletin for two suspects in connection with the disappearance of Shonette Savory which occurred on August 28, 2016, at Herstelling, East Bank Demerara.

The suspects have been identified as Patrick Kissoon called ‘Pato’ and Ritesha Rahaman called ‘Tesha’, both of Herstelling, Sea Dam, E.B.D.

Savory, a 37-year-old woman went missing from her Prospect, E.B.D. village in August last year after she left to purchase credit for her prepaid meter. Numerous attempts were made to contact the woman but all failed. It was also discovered that she left without any personal belongings.

It was long believed that a man who Savory was last seen with and who also went into hiding prior to her disappearance must have been responsible. It was also speculated that the man would have killed her and placed the body under a shack which he owned at Belle West, West Bank Demerara (WBD). However, in December, police were given the go ahead to “dig up” the shack and search the surrounding environs but came up empty handed.

Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Kissoon and Rahaman is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 226-1389, 227-2128, 226-7065, 256-411, 225-2227, 225-0575, 225-6940, 911 or the nearest police station.

The police said all information will be treated in the strictest confidence.

A photo of Rahaman was released along with her date of Birth (1991-01-17), however, it seems that little is known of Kissoon.
