Eight males are currently detained by the police as they continue their investigations into the fatal shooting and robbery of 39-year-old Paul Anthony Daniels in Albouystown.

Police sources have confirmed that during the course of last night (Thursday, February, 02), acting on information, the ranks swooped down on the various communities where the persons were arrested.

The News Room has been able to confirm that no females are among those who were picked up.

The arrests come less than 24 hours after the man was shot and killed by two men who barged into his girlfriend’s home on Thursday morning.

It was reported that they robbed him of a gold chain and fired several shots in his direction as they were about to leave the location.

He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

It is unclear if any of the persons who were arrested during the course of the night are key suspects or they are just “assisting” with the investigations as the police usually say.
