Olympian and national 100 and 200 metres record holder, Brenessa Thompson, is continuing her phenomenal form from last year with another record breaking start to her 2017 season.

The pocket rocket of a speedster, one week after lowering the 200 metres indoor record to 23.54s, which previously held by Angilla Corlette (23.64s), dropped the record again to 23.36s.

Thompson broke the record on Saturday at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational. She will continue her season as a student/athlete of Texas A&M College.
