The top four clubs of the West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) are set to clash on Easter Sunday night, April 16, at the Den Amstel Community Centre in the Super Four Massive Promotions organised annual football fest.

This year’s action will see the invited clubs, Uitvlugt Warriors, Den Amstel, Pouderoyen and Eagles Football Clubs, competing for the right to earn a top prize of $100,000, second place of $50,000 and third of $20,000.

The teams would be invited to a draw where they will pull their opponent for the preliminary 20/20 semi-final format. The respective losers will then clash in a 60-minute third place match, which would be followed by an 80-minute final.

Apart from trophies for the top two teams, individual prizes would be presented the best young player, best goalkeeper and highest goal scorer. Super Four Massive has indicated that this is their way of giving back towards the development of the sport in West Demerara.
