Jeffrey on pole for Georgetown GP

Kristian Jeffrey will start on pole in the Shifter Kart category on Friday when the second Georgetown Grand Prix is staged by GT Motorsports at the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club.
Jeffrey, powering his Stag branded kart #261, appeared to be in total control, sending a clear signal to his competitors that he means business on Friday.
The two-time Caribbean Group Four champion had a time of 31.147s. Starting on pole for the other categories are Jeremy Tenpow (Sun Burst Kids Cup- 60cc); Mikhail Persaud (125cc Junior); Denzel Hopkinson (125cc Senior); Raymond Baksh (Easy Cup Rookie); Stephen Vieira (Easy Cup Light); and Raymond Seebarran (Easy Cup Heavy).
