A 28 year old fisherman from Albouystown has been arrested following a raid on his home.
This was the second raid on the property carried out by ‘A’ Division Police during a four day period and it was on this occasion the ranks recovered more than 2000 grams of cannabis. The search was conducted at Gym Yard, Albouys Street, Albouystown.
The fisherman, identified as Shalred Alli, is a resident of 61 West Half Barr Street Albouystown was present when police found two black plastic bags containing leaves, seeds and stems suspected to be cannabis under his bed.
Tests have confirmed the plant parts to be cannabis.
