Misbah-ul-Haq made 99 for the second time in the series

Azhar Ali scored his 13th Test hundred, but Misbah-ul-Haq fell for 99 as West Indies fought back on day three of the second Test against Pakistan. After a painstaking fourth wicket partnership of 98 between Azhar and Misbah, West Indies made inroads into the visitors batting, reducing them to 329-7 by tea, a lead of just 17.

Azhar’s 105 held the innings together, but Misbah once again fell short of a hundred after being left stranded on 99 in the last Test. This is now the third time that Misbah has either been dismissed or left not out on 99 in Test cricket, the most by any player.

Devendra Bishoo has so far picked up 3-102, while Jason Holder and Shannon Gabriel has two each.
