A post-mortem was done on the body of Shenika Elliot London today (Monday, May 22, 2017), and the cause of death was given as “multiple incise wounds’’
The suspect Michael London who was arrested by ranks of the Guyana Police Force about 16:45hrs on Friday, (May 19, 2017) in the jungle of Moblissa, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, hours after he murdered his wife.
London appeared before His Worship Magistrate, Clive Nurse at the Wales Magistrate’s Court on Monday and was remanded to prison until June 27th, 2017.
The case has been transferred to the Linden Magistrate’s Court.
37-year-old Shenika Elliot London, a mother of five who resided at lot 1206 Central Amelia’s Ward, Mackenzie, Linden, was stabbed multiple times and allegedly ran across to her neighbour for assistance, even as she was drenched in blood. She collapsed outside of the yard.
A blood-stained knife suspected to be the murder weapon was found at the scene.
