Stolen car found completely burnt
An Allion Motorcar; PMM 6756 valued $ 1.9M which was hijacked at lot 4 ‘F’ Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice (WCB) on Sunday night (May 28, 2017) was yesterday (Monday, May 29, 2017) discovered in a Burial ground some villages away.
The motor car belonging to a Mechanic, Ryan Hiralall was hijacked during a Robbery under Arms committed at a Liquor Restaurant at Bath Settlement.
According to information received, the car was discovered at the Hope Town Burial Ground, West Coast Berbice, completely destroyed by fire.
News Room previously reported that at about 22:30 hrs on Sunday, three men entered the Liquor Restaurant where Hiralall and a friend, 26-year-old Chrisendat Surujpaul, were imbibing alcohol.
Three men who initially posed as customers help up the duo at gunpoint and managed to retrieve 1 Blu cell phone valued $25,000, one silver chain valued $30,000 and one silver ring valued $10,000. The suspects then entered the facility and robbed the proprietor, 45-year-old Lolitta Beni of a bad containing 60,000 Guyana dollars from the day’s sale, 1 Blu cell phone valued $20,000, 1 Samsung tablet valued $25,000, 1 Samsung Galaxy cell phone valued $80,000, and one silver ring valued $8,000.
