The body of a 27-year-old man was on Monday evening (June 19, 2017) found on the Soesdyke/Linden Highway.
The man who apparently died as a result of an accident was seen lying on the Western parapet of the Marudi public road, on the Highway at about 19:15 hours on Monday.
The body of the man identified as “Mukesh”, also of a Village along the Highway.
The body was described as being very stiff with abrasions to the lower back and above the right elbow.
Additionally, broken pieces of ID plates were seen in the vicinity of the body, but the numbers cannot be distinguished.
Investigations are ongoing.
