Police have recaptured another one of the 13 high-profile criminals who escaped from the swampy area at the Lusignan Prison.
Escapee Kendall Skeete was recaptured at 11:15hrs today in the Wisroc Housing Scheme, Linden.
This is according to the Public Relations Officer of the Guyana Police Force (GPF).
This brings the total of recaptured escapees from the second jailbreak to 8; leaving 5 criminals at large.
Regarding the 6 who escaped from the Camp Street Prison during the unrest of July 9, only 2 have been recaptured.
Therefore, a total of 9 prison escapees remain on the run.
