Members of the team to CAREBACO in T&T
The Guyana Badminton Association has sent a nine-member team to represent the country at the Caribbean Regional and International Badminton Championship (CAREBACO), set for August 9-25 in Trinidad.
The tournament is being played at the National Racquet Centre in Tacarigua. Last year at this championship held in Aruba, Guyana brought home 13 medals, consisting of two golds, seven silvers and four bronze medals.
The medal haul includes the silver Guyana won in the Under-19 Team championships. This year Guyana will be participating in the Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles events. See below the players in the respective categories for Guyana.
