The Police are investigating the circumstance surrounding the death of 14-year-old Chris Basdeo, whose decomposed body was found buried in the yard of a property that is currently under construction at Lot 317 Lust-en-Rust, Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara.
The teenager, who also resided at Parfaite Harmonie, was reported missing by his family some ten days ago.
Regional Commander, Senior Superintendent Linden Lord told the News Room that the body was discovered at around 12:30hrs by the Police who received a “tip” from a man.
That man is now in Police custody.
Basdeo’s father positively identified the body at the scene.
