Former policeman and alleged gang leader, Teon Allen, known as ‘Spoil Child’ was remanded to prison Thursday for the murder of his girlfriend.

Allen appeared before Magistrate Dylon Bess at the Linden Magistrate’s Court and was not required to plead to the charge, which alleged that on February 27, 2020, at Amelia’s Ward, Linden, he murdered 28 – year – old Collissa Hunte.

He was remanded to prison until April 16, 2020.

The News Room understands that Allen and Hunte lived together and have a child.

It is alleged that on the day in question, the couple had a misunderstanding when Allen accused Hunte of cheating on him. Allen allegedly shot Hunte who was found lying in a bloodied state in the kitchen at around 13:30hrs.

She was pronounced dead on arrival at the Mackenzie Public Hospital.

Allen also claimed to have sustained a gunshot wound the back, but doctors later discovered that the wound was from November 2019 when he was shot by the Police.

The couple house was also riddled with bullets and Allen had reportedly told Police that his house was shot at by unknown persons.

But he later allegedly confessed to the murder under interrogation.

The former Policeman, who is a suspected gang leader, faced charges for shooting at a police officer and was last October charged for the attempted murder of Denise Grant and Tiffany McDeth, in Amelia’s Ward, on September 2, 2019.
