An 82-year-old retired Anglican Priest was found with multiple stab wounds in his Vlissengen Road, Lodge, Georgetown home on Monday afternoon.
Dead is George Chuck-A-Sang. Police Headquarters in a statement revealed that Chuck-A-Sang was killed sometime between 08:00h on Friday last and 15:00h on Monday.
The body was discovered by his daughter, Renata and the current Priest Monsell Alves. The man lived alone in a two storey house.
According to the daughter she last spoke with her father on Friday and called him again on Monday. After he did not answer his phone, she visited Priest Alves house looking for him. Police said the daughter and Priest Alves then visited Chuck-A-Sang’s house and discovered him lying motionless in his underwear.
Police said the body was found with about seven stab wounds and his forehead was swollen.
The body was escorted to Georgetown Public hospital and pronounced dead on arrival. Investigations are ongoing.
