Tony Bowen, a Disc Jockey (DJ) known as ‘Mix Master Tony’ was on Friday released on $10,000 bail for allegedly playing loud music at Taco Loco restaurant located at Durey Lane, Campbellville, Georgetown.

Bowen, 26, of Cummings Lodge, appeared before City Magistrate Leron Daly and denied that on July 3, 2021, he disturbed the peace by playing loud music.

The court heard that ranks were summoned to the location after complaints from members of the public about the loud music.

Bowen’s attorney told the court that his client was not warned by the police to turn down the volume of the music, and if the ranks had done so he would have complied.

The Magistrate released Bowen on $10,000 bail and adjourned the matter until July 13.
