A security guard thwarted the attempted robbery of the ‘Good Life’ supermarket located at Diamond on the East Bank of Demerara Monday night.
The News Room was reliably informed that three bandits arrived at the supermarket in a car just after 20:00hrs and attempted to execute the robbery when the security guard shot one of them.
The two other accomplices left their wounded friend and escaped. The police were contacted and transported the suspect to the hospital.
