CANU nets $2M worth of cocaine in Campbellville

An operation by ranks of the Customs Anti Narcotic Unit (CANU) on Tuesday night resulted in the arrest of two men and the discovery of two kilos (4lbs) of cocaine.

A statement from CANU revealed that the operation was conducted at Craig Street Campbellville, Georgetown; the cocaine has a street value of GY$2 million.

In custody are 33-year-old Eon Joseph, and 60-year-old Andre Gomes known as Zipper, who has been linked to drug trafficking in the past, according to CANU.

They are in custody at CANU Headquarters.
