Three men will today appear in the Georgetown Magistrates’ court charged for the murder of 60 year old Agriculturalist, Anthony Breedy.
This is according to Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum, who confirmed that the Guyana Police Force’s legal adviser on Sunday morning advised on the way forward in the matter after the case file was sent to her.
This morning the police sent their file to the Director of Public Prosecution, who recommended that the capital charge be leveled against the three men.
Asked about the girlfriend of one of the prime suspect, who was found in possession of some of the dead man’s household appliances, the Crime Chief said based on how things are proceeding and the direction that the Criminal Investigation Department is taking in relation to this matter, the woman may be used as a witness in the case.
