BREAKING NEWS: GUNMEN STORM MCDOOM GAS STATION

At approximately 2:30hrs this morning (April 15) four men invaded the Shell Gas Station at McDoom on the East Bank Demerara.
According to persons on the scene who spoke with News Room, the men entered the gas station from the back of the village.
They first held up the security guard and placed him in a washroom before proceeding to rob a cashier and two pump attendants.
It is suspected that one of the bandits may have been injured after an exchange of gunfire between them and the police, who responded while the robbery was in progress.
The police are presently searching for the men, who they suspect hail from the same area.
