By Leroy Smith

Police detectives who have been up and about since 02:30hrs this morning gathering clues from the armed gas station robbery at Mc Doom, have managed to apprehend two persons.

News Room was informed that one of the men was lying under a house crying out in pain, from the gunshot wound he sustained during the exchange of gunfire with the police.

The other suspect was picked up from his home after the police reportedly found a black plastic bag with a gun and live rounds hidden in a septic tank in the man’s unfenced yard.

He has since denied any knowledge of the items.

Meanwhile, family members and residents from Mc Doom are of the view that the discovery of the weapons inside the septic tank is a “fraud” since according to them, the police arrived at the location with the same bag they claimed the weapon was concealed in.

The four men stormed the Shell Gas Station and robbed the female pump attendants and a female cashier of the night’s sale. They also opened fire in the direction of the young ladies.

While the robbery was in progress the police arrived on the scene, following a call from an employee, who noticed the men entering the Gas Station in a suspicious manner.
