76 year old Mahaicony mother allegedly beaten to death by intoxicated son

Seventy- six year old, Susheela Madray of Lot 2 Goed Faith, Mahaicony was last evening (April 21) allegedly murdered by her son, 52 year old, Terrence Madray in her home.

 

According to information received, the woman was reportedly beaten by her son, who is said to be a drug addict and heavy drinker, for reasons not yet known to police investigators.  

 

 

News Room was informed that at the time the man was under the influence.

 

 

Persons in the area said they heard a “strange sound” as if the woman was screaming and they called the police, who responded and found the woman’s lifeless body in a room.

 

 

When the News Room arrived at the scene last evening, the police were still on the ground as they awaited ranks from the Crime Scene Division to arrive.

 

 

The body of the woman was covered in a sheet and was already placed in the hearse, even as the police maintained a presence at the location.

 

 

The house did not appear to have any electricity and ranks from the Crime Scene Department are expected to revisit the scene this morning to carry out further investigations.
