Police recovers .38 pistol with three rounds in Sophia

Police say at about 21:00hrs last night Thursday May 19, 2016, ranks of a police mobile patrol in “A” Field, Sophia, observed a man riding a bicycle who, as they approached, threw away an object and abandoned the bicycle and escaped into the community.

A search of the area was done and a .38 Taurus pistol with three rounds was found.

Investigations are in progress.
