Bodywork technician fatally stabbed at Plaisance, ECD; suspect still at large
The Detectives in Division ‘C’ are investigating the murder of Orrette West, 28 years, a bodywork technician of Guyhoc Park, which occurred about 00:30hrs today Friday June 03, 2016, on the Railway Embankment in the vicinity of Plaisance, ECD.
Police investigations so far have revealed that the deceased Afro- Guyanese was in company of his girlfriend, when an argument ensued between him and an unidentified assailant over a fight they had some time ago.
As a result the assailant pulled out a knife and fatally stabbed the deceased in the region of his left side chest and escaped.
The suspect has not yet been arrested.
