Natasha Harry, a 31 year old student of the Carnegie School of Home Economics was earlier this evening allegedly shot to the face by her reputed husband, whose name was given only as Shawn,at Kurukururu, Linden/Soesdyke Highway.
However, this is yet to be confirmed, since some eye witnesses are claiming that the woman was lashed to the face with the weapon, even though they heard what sounded to be a gun shot.
It was reported to the News Room that persons in the area after hearing a loud explosion rushed to the scene and found the woman in a pool of blood.
She was rushed to the Diamond Hospital where doctors are trying to stabilise her condition, so that she can be transported to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The police are said to be hunting for the suspect.
