18 year old shot by ‘two feet’ at Kuru Kururu

Eighteen year old Kevin Batson of Kuru Kururu Squatting Area, Linden Highway was on Monday evening shot by twenty-five year old Andrew Fields aka ‘two feet’, also of Kuru Kururu Squatting Area, following a heated argument.

Batson was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he is currently a patient.

According to the police, the incident occurred at 20:00hrs on Monday, June 20, 2016, at Kuru Kururu Squatting Area.

Batson was involved in an argument over a brush cutter and spray can with Fields and another suspect, when Fields pulled out a firearm and shot Batson to his right side chest, the police said.

Both suspects made good their escape.

Investigations are ongoing.
