No play was possible on Sunday in the final between Trinidad and Tobago Women and Barbados Women in the Regional Women’s Super50 tournament at the Everest ground in Guyana, due to wet conditions caused by rain.

T&T Women have been crowned champions under the rules of the tournament. The tournament featured for the first time all of the six traditional cricket territories of the Caribbean with the Leeward Islands making a maiden appearance.

The tournament started on July 7. The teams will now switch focus to the T20 format, which will bowl off on Thursday, with three matches at the National Stadium, Providence.

At 09:00h, Barbados will play Trinidad and Tobago, followed by a clash between Jamaica and the Windward Islands at 14:00h, and Guyana versus the Leeward Islands from 19:00h.

Matches will continue on Friday and Sunday, followed by semi-finals and final on Monday. All games in this format are slated for the National Stadium.
