Suspect confesses to murdering Herstelling man

According to the Guyana Police Force (GPF), investigations have revealed that Terry Lackhan whose lifeless body was discovered at his Herstelling, East BanK Demerara (EBD) home on Thursday night was “strangled to death”.
The police also disclosed that a suspect arrested in connection with the case has “confessed to the murder”.
Reports stated that the body of the 55-year-old Gafsons Industries Limited’s manager was discovered by a neighbour on the night of July 21, 2016, shortly after a male was seen exiting the home with several bags.
He was found motionless next to a wardrobe around 23:00hrs, with a length of rope tied around his neck, while several bottles of tablets and photographs of his family members lay nearby.
