WI dismissed for 243; India enforce follow-on
India enforced the follow-on against the West Indies on day two of the first Test in Antigua after gaining a massive first innings lead of 323 after posting 566-8 declared.
West Indies, resuming on 31-1, were dismissed for 243 late in the final session, with fast bowlers Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami taking four wickets each, and leg-spinner Amit Mishra claiming two.
Opener Kraigg Brathwaite topscored with 74 and wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich propped up the lower order with a fine 57 not out. Jason Holder chipped in with 36 and debutant Roston Chase 23.
No other batsman got past 20, as the middle-order trio Marlon Samuels (1), Darren Bravo (11) and Jermaine Blackwood (0) were dismissed cheaply.
