Detectives are working around the clock to bring justice to the relatives who lost their loved ones in the recent triple murder in Black Bush Polder. According to Commander of ‘B’ Division, Ian Amsterdam, investigators have arrested seven more individuals in connection with the gruesome murder.

Mr. Amsterdam told this media outlet that “we believe we have the right persons and we are on the right track”. The police are closer to getting a confession by the end of Monday.

News Room understands that the seven persons in custody are owners of rice lands in the Kookrit Creek, Savannah, Black Bush Polder area where the bodies of 33-year-old Naresh Rooplall, 37-year-old Pawan Chandradai aka Suresh and his 15-year-old son, Jaikarran Chandradai aka Kevin were discovered on Friday morning.

This brings the total to ten persons in custody thus far.

News Room previously reported that two guards attached to a Koker in the area, along with another guard who was at a neighbouring camp owned by rice farmer, SudamaJagmohan aka King are in custody assisting with investigations.

Investigators were working with the theory of a wanted man committing the act, however, following the information given by those in custody, the other were arrested.

The bodies of the two men and the teenager were discovered on Friday morning at Kookrit Creek, savannah, Black Bush Polder where they left to go fishing on Thursday afternoon, along with the brother of JaikarranChandradai aka Kevin, 12-year-old Alvin. However, Alvin was left behind in the company of two guards.

The information provided by the boy led to the initial arrest of the two guards.
