Police investigating shooting at Kitty

Police are investigating the alleged shooting of 21-year-old O’Neal Hally of Queen Street, Kitty, which occurred about 21:30hrs. last night in front of his home.

It is alleged that Hally was shot by a male, armed with a handgun.

Enquiries disclosed that earlier in the night the victim and the suspect had an argument in Albouystown, over a previous misunderstanding; later, he was confronted by the suspect who shot him twice on his left leg and escaped.

The victim was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was treated and sent away.

The suspect has not yet been apprehended.
