Motorcyclist critical after being struck by speeding car in Berbice

Devanand Kahaman, age 24 of Shieldstown, Blairmont West Bank Berbice was on Saturday afternoon, struck down by a speeding Toyota 212 in the vicinity of Fyrish Public Road, Corentyne, Berbice. The accident occurred at approximately 16:00 hrs

The Toyota 212 bearing number plate PPP 1345 was driven by Lakeram Rampersaud,age 64; a saw miller.

According to information gathered, the motorcyclist is currently battling for his life at the Georgetown Public Hospital.

Investigations are ongoing.
