Police Constable, Timothy Horatio who was the driver of the route 40 minibus that was involved in an accident on Sunday, was charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving.
On August 28, 2016, the minibus being driven by Horatio toppled on Regent Street during an alleged race with a friend.
The constable was off- duty at the time.
Several persons were injured during the incident. One person, 21-year-old Dillon Linton subsequently died.
According to one of the passengers who was in the vehicle at the time, the driver and the conductor; Ronald Maxwell were imbibing at the time of the accident.
