Six children among Passengers seriously injured in accident

Three persons are still critical following an accident which occurred at Foulis, West Coast Berbice, on Sunday last.
According to information reaching the News Room, a route 50 minibus was heading from Georgetown when it collided with a car heading in the opposite.
The accident took place at about 20:30 hours on Sunday resulting in 14 persons sustaining various injuries, six of which are children.
Seven persons were rushed to the Fort Wellington Hospital and three were treated and sent away, while the other three are said to be in a critical condition.
Circumstances surrounding the accident are still sketchy while efforts to gain additional information from the Divisional Traffic Commander, Budnarine Persaud were unsuccessful.
