Bond re-elected to PNCR Central Executive Committee

The People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) today announced the members of its Central Executive Committee.

 

In a statement, the party disclosed that James Bond who contested for the post of Vice Chair, where he received only 148 votes was successfully re-elected to the Central Executive Committee. Bond, who campaigned on a youth platform competed for the position but lost to Dr. George Norton and Volda Lawrence.

 

According to media reports, Bond down-played his loss, saying that he was not anxious to sit on the Party’s Central Executive

 

Other members elected to the Committee include;

  3. Winston Felix
  4. Amna Ally
  5. Lurlene Nestor
  6. Larry London
  7. Carol Smith-Joseph
  8. Patricia Chase-Green
  9. Hazel Pinder
  10. Mortimer Mingo
  11. Clement Corlette
  12. Jennifer Ferreira-Dougal
  13. Genevieve Allen
  14. Cheryl Sampson

 

The party previously disclosed that a total of Four hundred and fifty-five (455) votes were cast which saw five spoiled votes.

 

While the position for Leader of the party was unopposed leaving the current Head of State, David Granger in that post, persons serving in the other top posts were successful in capturing the votes of the other delegates to remain.
