Elverene Bourne, age 35, a self employed mother of three, of lot 265 Chesney Squatting Area pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Bail was objected by Prosecutor Godfrey Playter on the grounds of the nature and prevalence of the offence and the fact that no special reason was advanced for bail to be granted.

The substance weighed some 450 grams.
She was arrested and later charged for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking on September 13, 2016.
